It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

This past week was all about getting ready for Christmas and begin decorating! We got in the mood with the annual Island Glow, which includes the arrival of Sant on the island, the band marching down Macomb, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Then the merriment begins!! Macomb stores are all open, many with PARTIES!!  We had planned to eat at Vitalie’s, even parked the car there. Instead we stopped off at Island Rental and found it packed with people, food and booze!! Fun, fun, fun! After that we happened on to an Art Show featuring Doni Moxlow and checked out all her beautiful acrylics and oil paintings. Picked up some Christmas presents!! Then we finished up the night at Grosse Ile Garden Center to pick out a wreath and make it back to the car!!

Put the Christmas carols on! Time to decorate! I like to bring the decorations out slowly and begin the stagging process. So ever so slowly it begins to look like Christmas!!

Plus some of Philip’s early art work:

Now to put up the tree!!
